  • Individual counseling is a great space for you to reflect on and process a variety of experiences. I most often work with individuals looking to increase self-esteem, process family of origin trauma, identify and replace relationship patterns that no longer serve them, among other issues. Together we will explore what makes you the person you are today, what might have you feeling stuck and unable to move forward, and how to work toward living the life you want and deserve. I will meet you where you are and we will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

  • Relationships can be both incredibly rewarding and incredibly challenging. They take work and commitment from both parties. However, the rewards of a healthy relationship are what most of us seek to experience - genuine love and connection. Whether you are wanting to learn skills to better manage conflict or are hoping to increase connection and intimacy - couples counseling is a safe space to do so. I use Level 1 training of Gottman Method Couples Therapy when working with couples, which you can read more about here.

  • Congratulations on your engagement! Doing premarital counseling is in my opinion one of the most, if not the most, important parts of wedding planning. In fact, couples who complete premarital counseling are 30% less likely to separate or divorce. Premarital counseling can help further strengthen the foundation of your relationship and give you the tools needed for a healthy and happy marriage. As opposed to solely focusing on areas of conflict and disconnect within the relationship, during premarital counseling we will dedicate approximately 12 sessions to address a variety of important topics (conflict management, finances, parenting, etc). This process is structured, proactive, and if you allow it to be - also very fun!

  • Quizás estas pasando por una gran transición, te gustaría mejorar tus relaciones, o deseas desarrollar habilidades que te ayudarán a vivir una vida llena de mas felicidad. Juntos podemos trabajar en estas preocupaciones y muchas otras más. Exploraremos qué te ha influenciado a ser la persona que eres hoy, al igual de cómo crear la vida que deseas y qué mereces. Ofrezco sesiones que combinan el Inglés y el Español para aquellos clientes que se sienten más cómodos con un terapeuta que entiende conceptos Hispanos, o para aquellos que encuentran más fácil poder expresar sus emociones en Español.

  • Self-Esteem

    Do you find it easier to extend love and compassion to others than to yourself? Perhaps you’re trying to foster more confidence and self-acceptance but feel overwhelmed by all of the messages we receive from social media about what it means to be a lovable and “beautiful” person. My hope is to help my clients walk away from our work with greater self-compassion, a strong sense of self, and increased confidence in what they bring to the table.

  • Perfectionism

    The pressure to be perfect is a heavy load to carry. As you might have already found out, it isn’t a sustainable way of living. Perfectionism can manifest in our relationships, in our careers, and in any area of our life where they may be an opportunity for praise and approval. My hope is to help you tap into your humanity, acknowledging that the goal of being perfect all of the time is not one we can ever reach. Embracing our flaws and shortcomings can actually feel liberating, instead of debilitating.

  • Relationships

    It can feel painful and isolating when we lack connection or a sense of mutual understanding with our loved ones. Whether you are struggling to set healthy boundaries with those around you, feeling restricted in your ability to be yourself within your relationships, or perhaps feeling a desire to create new and healthy patterns that will facilitate more positive and fulfilling relationships in the future - I’m happy to help you build and maintain the connections you crave and deserve to have.

  • Latinx Experience

    As a proud Latina, I empathize with both the beauty and struggle of being a part of Hispanic culture. I help clients find a balance between accepting cultural ideals that align with who they want to be, while also rejecting unhealthy and outdated ways of seeing the world that may have been passed down generationally. I can support clients in exploring the setting of healthy boundaries with family, reducing shame around seeking therapy, and finding ways to remain connected to cultural traditions and values.

  • Young Adulthood

    If this time period of your life has you feeling increased doubt, insecurity, and fear of the future… you’re not alone. What if instead it could be filled with feel-good self-discovery, exploration, and of course… lots of fun?
    #Adulting is hard, but it can also be empowering to finally begin to take the reins of your life. I can help you work through career transitions, navigate dating and relationships, build trust in yourself to take on life’s daily challenges, and most importantly help you move toward your ideal self.

  • Anxiety

    I enjoy supporting individuals who might label themselves as overthinkers, those whose anxiety prevents them from seeing “the grey area”, and those who have felt limited in their capacity to seek out their interests due to anxious beliefs. By using CBT and mindfulness techniques, my hope is to help you identify the thoughts that are preventing you from living in the moment and replace them with ones that are more conducive to peace and security. And while we’re at it, we’ll try to gain some understanding about where this anxiety is stemming from in the first place.
